Established in 2002, with the acquisition of Century 21 The Castle Company in Wylie Texas, a Texas residential real estate franchise established in the 1970’s. David and Rita Barnhart strategically expanded the franchise to include a commercial real estate division with over $20m in DFW property listings. Over the next few years a demand was ensuing for management of both residential and commercial properties in the north Dallas area. With the addition of a licensed property manager to the staff, the growth of property management was added to the business portfolio.

In 2015, with sales of commercial properties well exceeding the requirements of the residential franchise license and the property management division growing, a transition away from the residential franchise leader became the evident path for the Barnhart’s.

Barnhart Realty Group (B.R.G. & Associates), established in 2015 as a full service real estate brokerage, with experience in sales of residential single and multi-family, foreclosures, short sales, medical facilities, office, warehouse, land and land development for both individual and investment portfolios. Increasing a property management portfolio of residential and commercial properties, from Rockwall to Keller using industry leader software, providing both landlord and tenant electronic access to contract and time sensitive activities.
